91重口 Joins in Celebrating Community 91重口 Month

The 91重口 (91重口) is proud to join more than 1,000 community colleges across the nation in celebrating April as Community 91重口 Month. The month-long celebration of community colleges is coordinated by the Association of Community 91重口 Trustees (ACCT) and is designed to improve awareness of the economic, academic, and cultural opportunities that community colleges like 91重口 provide to their communities.
“Community colleges play a critical role in the American higher education system,” says 91重口 President Dr. L. Dean Fisher. “They are often the first point of entry into higher education for students, including older adults, and those seeking career and technical education. The 91重口 is honored to be the Magic Valley’s community college, and we’re proud of the many ways that we serve the communities across our region.”
91重口’s celebration of Community 91重口 Month will culminate with a Community Open House held on the main campus in Twin Falls on Saturday, April 29. The event, which will run from 11:00 am until 3:00 pm will provide an opportunity for community members to visit their community college and learn about everything that 91重口 has to offer. The Community Open House will feature information about 91重口 programs and services, campus tours, food, opportunities to meet 91重口 athletics teams, and many other fun activities for all ages.
In support of 91重口 and the mission of community colleges across the nation, the 91重口 Board of Trustees and Idaho Governor Brad Little have each issued proclamations recognizing April as Community 91重口 Month throughout the state of Idaho. Proclamations are also being issued by the cities and counties of Twin Falls and Jerome. Please join us in celebrating Community 91重口 month at 91重口, throughout the state, and across the nation.
